Reengineering the Human Resources Function - A Necesity for Organizatuins in the Republic of Moldova

This article is about the need to restructure the human resources function in the organizations from the Republic
of Moldova. It shows the importance of the HR function in ensuring organizational performance and
competitiveness. In this regard, it presents the opinions of several researchers in the field who claim that, to be
efficient, the HR function must be subject to substantial changes. These relate directly to the shift from operating
activities in the pursuit of strategic activities. In the current conditions, when changes are being made
increasingly faster the HR function must support and coordinate all the transformations that occur within the
organization. This approach, tries to raise the awareness of the top management from local organizations in
terms of changing their attitude to the human resources function and its peer treatment with other functions:
production, marketing and financial.
